Theaus CH₄ exists to permanently eliminate methane emissions from legacy oil and gas infrastructure through rigorous measurement, verified abandonment, and internationally aligned assurance standards. We believe meaningful climate outcomes must be grounded in physical reality, independent verification, and long-term environmental integrity—not estimates or assumptions.

Our work focuses on transforming unmanaged methane emissions into measurable, durable climate outcomes by applying disciplined monitoring, documentation, and third-party assurance at every stage of the process. This assurance-first approach ensures that environmental benefits are real, defensible, and aligned with the expectations of regulators, operators, and institutional stakeholders.

A portion of our profits are reinvested to support the remediation, stabilization, and long-term stewardship of orphaned wells. These efforts are focused on reducing long-term environmental risk, protecting land and groundwater, and lowering the public and financial burdens created by legacy oil and gas infrastructure.
